We help you capture, organize, and review every upgrade, modification, and ride in one centralized place: from photo logs of part swaps, cost tracking records, ride notes, visual build timelines, multi-bike garage profiles, full-screen photo comparison tools, to planned upgrade drafts.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and handle your personal information and build data when you use the Yuvain platform, mobile app, and related services. By using Yuvain, you agree to the practices outlined in this policy.

Information We Collect

Information you provide voluntarily:

• Account information: Your email address, display name, and any profile details you choose to add when creating your Yuvain account
• Build content: All data you upload or input into the platform, including modification photos, part specifications, cost tracking entries, ride notes, custom timeline entries, multi-bike garage profiles, and draft planned upgrades saved in your Plans tab
• Support communications: Any feedback, bug reports, feature requests, or questions you send to our team

Information collected automatically:

• Device information: Basic hardware and software details including device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers to ensure app functionality across different systems
• Usage data: Anonymous, non-identifiable data about how you interact with Yuvain features, such as how often you use the split-screen photo comparison tool, which part categories you log most frequently, and timeline engagement metrics to help us improve our service for all cyclists

How We Use Your Data

• Deliver core Yuvain functionality: We use your build data to power your visual build timelines, sync your multi-bike profiles across all your devices, enable split-screen and swipe photo comparison modes, save your planned upgrades, and generate cost tracking summaries for your projects
• Improve our platform: We analyze aggregated, anonymous usage data to prioritize feature updates (such as adding new part category options, expanding gallery comparison modes, or optimizing the workshop interface) and fix technical issues
• Security and account protection: We use account information to prevent unauthorized access to your build data, detect fraudulent activity, and ensure the stability of our service
• Important communications: We may send you service-related notifications (such as policy updates, planned service outages, or confirmation of account changes) which you cannot opt out of for security purposes. You may opt out of non-essential feature update announcements at any time

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We will never sell your personal information, build data, photos, or cost records to any third party for advertising or marketing purposes. We only share your data in the following limited circumstances:

• Trusted service providers: We share limited data with third-party vendors who help us operate Yuvain, such as cloud hosting providers, data backup services, and payment processors (if you subscribe to premium Yuvain features). All vendors are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and are only permitted to use your data to deliver services to us, not for their own purposes
• Legal obligations: We may disclose your information if required to do so by valid legal requests, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of other Yuvain users

Your Rights & Controls

You retain full ownership of all build content you upload to Yuvain. At any time, you have the right to:

• Access all data stored in your account, including full copies of your build photos, timeline entries, bike profiles, and planned upgrade drafts
• Edit or delete any individual entry, bike profile, photo, or planned upgrade directly from your account interface
• Export your entire build dataset, including CSV exports of cost and part records, full-resolution photo downloads, and PDF compilations of your complete build timeline
• Permanently delete your Yuvain account. When you request account deletion, we will permanently erase all your data from our servers within 30 days, with no residual backups kept unless required by applicable legal obligations

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including end-to-end encryption for data in transit, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, regular security audits, and limited access to user data for our internal team.

While we take all reasonable steps to protect your information, no internet-based service can guarantee 100% security. We recommend you use a unique, strong password for your Yuvain account and never share your login credentials with other users.

Children's Privacy

Yuvain is not intended for use by persons under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a user under the age of 13, we will immediately delete all related information from our servers.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to our services or applicable requirements. We will notify all active users of any material changes at least 30 days before the updated policy takes effect, via in-app notification or email to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of Yuvain after the updated policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
